OUR LEADERSHIP

Leadership Rooted in Service.

Best Life’s nonprofit leadership team believes meaningful change begins with relationships. Our leadership brings together decades of experience in organizational leadership, human services, community engagement, and service—with a shared commitment to listening first, strengthening others, and helping turn opportunity into lasting impact.

Different experiences. A shared commitment to helping people and communities thrive.

Dr. T. Scott Gordon, Founder and CEO of Best Life, Inc.

Leadership is not about becoming the answer. It is about helping others build what is possible.

FOUNDER & CEO

Dr. T. Scott Gordon

Leadership • Organizational Development • Service

Scott Gordon has spent more than four decades leading people, teams, and organizations through growth, change, and complex challenges. His career has included executive leadership across regional, national, and global organizations, as well as consulting, coaching, organizational development, and operational transformation.

At Best Life, Scott brings that experience to a different kind of leadership challenge: helping turn relationships and good intentions into sustainable impact. As Founder and CEO, he helps guide the organization’s strategy, build partnerships, connect resources with opportunity, and strengthen the people and organizations already serving their communities.

His approach reflects a belief that has shaped both his professional life and Best Life’s work: lasting change is built with people, not simply for them.

FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER

Elizabeth Harvey

Communication • Community Engagement • Creative Strategy

Elizabeth Harvey brings a background in communication, client service, community engagement, and creative strategy to Best Life. Her experience across real estate, insurance, business development, and digital brand implementation has centered on a common strength: connecting with people, understanding what they need, and helping turn ideas into action.

As a Founding Board Member, Elizabeth supports Best Life through communications, digital strategy, donor engagement, and the development of tools that help the organization share its story and expand its reach. She brings both a practical and creative perspective to the work, helping translate Best Life’s mission into meaningful ways for others to understand it, connect with it, and become part of it.

Her role reflects one of Best Life’s central beliefs: meaningful impact often begins by helping the right people, resources, and opportunities find one another.

Sometimes the most meaningful contribution begins by recognizing where you can help—and saying yes.

OUR NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP TEAM

Different Experience.
Shared Purpose.

Best Life’s leadership brings different professional experiences, perspectives, and strengths to the work, but shares a common purpose: to serve with humility, build relationships with intention, and help create opportunities that can last.

Together, we are committed to listening before acting, respecting the knowledge and leadership already present within communities, and stewarding every relationship and resource entrusted to Best Life with care.

We may bring different strengths to the table. What brings us to the table is the same belief: people are worth investing in.
